Spreading Wings Films is a Aerial Photography services company and Australian online retailer for various Remote Pilot Aircraft System (RPAS) and Handheld Gimbals.

Spreading Wings Films has been established to provide cost effective aerial filming and aerial photography services by utilizing state-of-the-art remote controlled multi-rotor technology and professional grade cameras. We are insured for public liability of $10M and can be upgraded per request. Our permission for aerial work is granted by the CASA (Civil Aviation and Safety Authority), means that we can fly from 1 to 400 ft to capture truly stunning imagery, safely and professionally.
Whether it be aerial filming for the movie industry, TV productions, commercials, corporate videos, golf course flyovers, action sports or aerial photography of events, commercial or residential property for marketing purposes, we aim to be the best and deliver to the requirement of our clients.

Creative Direction
We have expertise working with film and media industry, particularly with still photography and aerial cinematography. We can advise any client of which shooting angles we feel will work best.
Helicopter filming, tracking or dolly shots, creatively and technically have their limits. We find that our clients are impressed by the creative possibilities of filming through a Remote Pilot Aircraft .
Points of view and shooting angles, which up until recently were only available to large budget productions, are now available to all through the use of drone camera platforms. We love speaking to clients to ensure that we will get the most dramatic and exciting footage for them possible.
Planning, Permissions & Insurance
Spreading Wings Films has $10 million of public liability insurance which can be increased to $20 million if required by the client. Sometimes special permissions may need to be granted by the CASA if operated within 3Nm of a towered airport, and we can handle the applications process.
Before the start of any project, we will carry out a site "Job Safety Assessment (JSA)" taking into account all factors which may affect the the safety of those people on the ground or other potential aircraft.
